Tree 1

I started a new painting this weekend, continuing on the style of Emily Carr. This tree idea has been lurking in my head for a long time but I wasn't sure how to express the idea. So this is a bit abstract but still grounded in nature. The bottom half has yet to speak to me so I'll ponder that while I'm working at my other job.
